10 members appointed by The Board of Supervisors to a 3-year term.

Overview

The Tourism Council is an advisory council of industry representatives from various tourism sectors that include incorporated towns, restaurants, lodging, agriculture, and attractions. The Council is provided a monthly update of local and regional tourism efforts including promotions, marketing, public relations as well as budgeting and long-term industry planning. Council provides their input on industry trends and any challenges they face so staff can respond accordingly.
