Watershed Hero Businesses And Non-Profits

Shenandoah Watershed Hero Businesses & Nonprofits

More than 3,000 businesses and nonprofits operate in the watershed in Shenandoah County. Individually our impact may not seem like much, but collectively we can all work together to ensure we enjoy our watershed now and in the future.

Be a Shenandoah Watershed Hero!

Our Watershed Hero Businesses and Nonprofits commitment to improve the health of the watershed also improves the local community. We work to support businesses and nonprofits by providing resources and connecting them with expertise including information and funding that they need to reduce pollutants and nutrients from entering local waterways, improve flood control, and reduce their operating costs with energy efficient solutions and water conservation measures. Please keep track of your commitments, measure your progress, and share your successes! When your neighbors see your impact, they’ll want to join the effort to create healthy rivers and thriving valleys!
