Water & Sewer

OVERVIEW OF PUBLIC UTILITIES

The County of Shenandoah owns three water utilities: The Stoney Creek Sanitary District (in the Basye/Bryce area), the Toms Brook-Maurertown Sanitary District, and the North Fork Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (north of Edinburg). With the exception of the Town of Toms Brook, the Towns within the county operate their own water utilities, and are not associated with the County government.

For more information about the County-owned water utilities, please see the Reports and Forms page, or contact our office at 540-459-7491.
