This is an election to fill a position on the Town Council. The Election is on May 4. It will be at the New Market Fire Department from 6 am to 7 pm. You may continue to vote early the Registrar’s Office in Woodstock on Friday April 30 and Saturday May 1 from 8:30 to 4:30. Absentee Ballots may be dropped off inside the Registrar’s Office during office hours (8:30 am to 4:30pm) through May 4th. Absentee ballots mailed by 7 pm on May 4 and received by noon Friday May will be counted.
This is a Democratic Primary to select the Democratic Candidates for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Attorney General for the November General Election. The Primary is on June 8. You will vote in your local precinct which will be open from 6am to 7pm. You may continue to vote early the Registrar’s Office in Woodstock Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The office will be open for early voting on the last two Saturdays before the Primary–April 29 and June 5: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Absentee Ballots may be dropped off inside the Registrar’s Office during office hours (8:30 to 4:30) through June 8. Absentee ballots mailed by 7 pm on June 8 and received by noon Friday June 11 will be counted. Absentee Ballots may also be dropped off at your precinct on Election Day.
If you are not registered to vote, you still have time to do so. Registration will be open from May 5 through May 17. You may register on line or contact the Registrar’s Office. You have until close of business on Friday May 28 may to get a request for an absentee ballot to the Registrar’s Office.
