Rural Water Supply Operations Training

Shenandoah County Dept. of Fire and Rescue, in conjunction with the Virginia Department of Fire Programs, will be sponsoring countywide training in Rural Water Supply Operations. Topics covered will include identification of rural water sources, tanker operations, dump tank and nurse operations, and dry hydrant usage. Practical application of concepts reviewed will be conducted to give attendees an opportunity to demonstrate proficiency in setting up a rural water supply operation from a variety of sources.
A certificate of attendance will be issued by the Virginia Department of Fire Programs.
