Shenandoah County Dept. of Fire and Rescue, in conjunction with the Virginia Department of Fire Programs, will be sponsoring an Emergency Vehicle Operator Course for Class I, II, and III apparatus. This certification course is designed to acquaint students with the theories and practices of emergency vehicle operations, and explain the differences between emergency and non-emergency driving. This course DOES NOT teach students how to drive - student should have adequate driving experience, in the vehicle type and classification which he/she attempts to gain certification in, before taking this course.

Dates: May 4 and 5, 2019 Instructors: SCFR EVOC instructor Cadre
Times: Class begins at 08:00
Cost: $25.00 per student. Cash, money order, or checks made payable to: Shenandoah Co. Fire and Rescue will be accepted.
Prerequisites: Must be 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license with on-the-road experience in the vehicle class certification is attempted.
