NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ADOPT AN ORDINANCE
The Shenandoah County Board of Supervisors intends to consider whether to adopt an ordinance amending and reenacting Article II of Chapter 5 of the Shenandoah County Code to rename the Industrial Development Authority of Shenandoah County, Virginia to the Economic Development Authority of Shenandoah County, Virginia, and to greatly simplify Article II by cross-referencing the Virginia Code. Citizen comments regarding the proposed ordinance will be heard at a public hearing during the Board of Supervisors’ meeting on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as practical in the Board Meeting Room of the County Government Center, located at 600 N. Main Street, Woodstock, Virginia.
