Shenandoah County is currently recruiting for the full time position of Public Utilities Operations Coordinator. The position reports to the Director of Public Services, performing project management and operations coordination for the County’s water and wastewater utilities. The County’s facilities include two sanitary districts, as well as the North Fork Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (see Summary document below).
Candidates should be highly organized, have experience with project planning and management, and be team-oriented. A strong familiarity with Microsoft Office is a must. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in public utilities (or similar industry sectors) and knowledge of environmental compliance.
The position is compensated on a grade 20 of the county’s pay scale. The hiring range is $45,144 to $67,016, with final salary based on candidate’s demonstrated experience, education and qualifications.
