The County of Shenandoah is accepting applications for the position of a part time Equipment Operator. This position performs skilled work involving the operation of equipment for refuse collection, transport, and landfilling for the Solid Waste Management Department. This position works between 20 to 30 hours a week. Successful candidates must possess a commercial driver’s license, have considerable experience operating medium and heavy motorized equipment, and be able to service and maintain equipment. Successful candidates will also have a thorough knowledge of safe driving practices, and safe operation of equipment. Minimum education level is any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school.
Hourly pay is on the County Pay Scale Grade 13 starting between $14.66/hour and $15.80/hour. Benefits are not included.
