Administrative Assistant to Office of the County Administrator and Department of Finance

 

The Shenandoah County Office of the County Administrator and Department of Finance seek a full time administrative assistant to provide full time office support to both departments.  Both offices are physically located in the same office suite.   The position acts as point of contact for the general public, multiple departments and outside agencies conducting business with both offices.   The successful candidate must have excellent clerical skills and ability to multi-task in a fast paced, multi-faceted work environment. Essential functions and tasks to be performed are outlined in the job description.

This is a full-time, FLSA non-exempt position with a competitive benefits package, including Virginia Retirement System, health and dental insurance, vacation, sick, and holiday leave.  Compensation will depend on the successful candidate’s experience and education. The position is on a Grade 13 of the County’s pay scale with anticipated hiring range of $30,240 to $32,565
